WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKE UP?

It is cosmetic tattooing. This is the implantation of pigment into the dermal layer of skin.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS?

You will receive a patch test to be worn for 24 hours. Your initial consultation can be carried out via phone call or message and consultation forms are sent digitally.  On the day you can expect the procedure to take roughly 1 ½-2 hours. You will then return for a follow up treatment after 4 – 6 weeks if needed.

IS IT PERMANENT?

It is considered permanent. Fading does occur over time. This is due to many factors including UV exposure, skin type, medical conditions and many more. Pigment will remain in the skin anywhere from 12 months to 5 years. Top up treatments or colour boosts are recommended every 12-18 months.

IS IT SAFE?

Yes.
Your treatment is carried out in a sterile environment using disposable equipment. Your needle will be opened on front of you and will be disposed of directly after your procedure. The clinic has undergone rigorous checks from the environmental health department who provided Nicole with a license to carry out tattooing in the premises.

WHAT IF I DONT LIKE IT?

On consultation we will discuss colour, shape and expectations. Colour appears darker immediately after the procedure. The healing time is roughly 4-6 weeks. As a follow up procedure is often required there is always room for slight manoeuvre in shape, size or colour. The healed result will be visible about 8 weeks after initial procedure.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Not particularly. Some people experience some discomfort but overall most people find the procedure tolerable.
